I have just arrived home after my day on Beat Six of the river Test and wish to thank all those involved for a really splendid day’s sport.

The fishing was challenging enough to make each fish caught a noteworthy event, the fact they were all in such good condition and not at all “easy” made them all something special.

I was made very welcome and looked after extremely well – who would have thought that you could enjoy a day’s fishing and a ready supply of freshly made tea “on demand”?

Finally, I would be grateful if you would pass my particular thanks to Dale - he made an outstanding day truly memorable: I certainly intend to repeat the experience.
